If you follow our facebook page you’ve probably already seen the Ellering Family, however I have been waiting for the above image to post here on the blog. Amanda and I had the joy of photographing the Ellering family last fall. It was perfect timing. The colors were vibrant and the weather on the day of their session couldn’t have been better! The Ellering family is just one of those families that you instantly fall in love with! They are fun, easy-going, and the kids are some of the most respectful kids I know! We had a lot of fun photographing them and walked away from that session with some of our favorite family photos!

Jenn and Ben were open to the idea of canvases but didn’t know exactly how they wanted to use them when they came in for their view+choose appointment here at our studio. Well we had a few suggestions, and with input from the whole family we managed to create a breathtaking canvas collection to grace their dining room wall. Jenn recently told us that she stops and looks at the canvas collection everyday! I don’t think there is any compliment better than that!
(Edit to add canvas sizes: (1) 20×24, (2) 11×21′s, (2) 12×12′x, (2) 8×12′s)

Here at Adam Hommerding Photography we strive to create something unexpected for your home. We make it our goal to create artwork for our clients that truly represents who they are and what they are about. So why not fill your home with photos of you? What better way is there to welcome your guests than welcoming them in a home that shows the love between your family!

Here a are a few more favorites from our time with the Ellering Family:

Michelle Kane: The installation looks amazing!

Jenn: Love the wall art! Can I ask what sizes the canvas as are? They look amazing!!

Amber: I love your work. I am wondering what size the canvas pictures are that you used for the Ellering's wall?

Jonathan: Beautiful family and excellent photography! :) beautiful children, sons got mums eyes and daughter has dads eyes! Love it

At this point, who isn’t thinking of warmer weather? I’ve had spring fever for at least two weeks already. I couldn’t take it any more so I had to bring a little bit of Spring into the house! I bought three succulent plants for my office the other day! It is the perfect fix to this loooong gloomy winter. I took a little break the other day from my normal daily work to photograph my new office friends. For you photographers reading this, I tried a new shooting technique called free-lensing. Google it! It is a lot of fun! Below are a few shots that I took. Let’s hope that Spring is right around the corner. I don’t think anyone would complain.

Jayne, a fellow photographer, contacted me earlier this winter wanting photos of her and her fiance Matt. I was excited right away when she contacted me! She had a ton of great ideas, and I LOVE photographing other photographers and their loved ones. I met them in Clara City, the small town where Jayne has her studio – Jayne Priebe Photography. We had so much fun capturing who they are and what they are all about! Jayne and Matt are such a cute couple, and I was so honored to be able to spend a few hours with them! Although we all had cold fingers, noses, and toes when we were all done, I think it was worth it! Enjoy the photos, and leave Jayne + Matt a little comment love! :)

Adam Hommerding Photography has been blessed to work with great clients and communities throughout the last couple of years. We have been trying to find a way to give back to our clients and the communities they live in, and we though why not start with the local schools! We are so excited to officially launch our “Photos 4 Eduction” program!

This year we have two schools participating in the Adam HommerdingPhotography “Photos 4 Education” program – Sacred Heart School (Freeport) & St.Mary’s School (Melrose). For every session scheduled using the “Photos 4 Education” card, AHP will donate $25 to the participating school of your choice! Help us reach our $1500 annual donation goal for 2011, by picking up a card and scheduling a session with AHP! Our donations will give back to the great schools and students that are creating the future of our neighborhoods!

“Photos 4 Education” cards are available at both participating school’s annual dinner and auction events or at the school offices. Please contact Adam Hommerding Photography at 320.248.8902 with any additional questions!
