Well the 2nd Annual Melrose Garden Tour is tomorrow and the little project I was talking about in this post is finally complete! Mom really wanted an album of some of the flowers in her gardens. So… I took on the task with only a week to pull it all together and I just finished it yesterday! It was fun going back to where I started in photography, photographing all the things in our yard. However, it was a challenge to get in that mind frame when I’ve been photographing as a portrait photographer for so long already! Below are a few photos of the finished album as well as a few photos that are included in the whole album design. My mom and dad have been going crazy this year with their gardens to prep for the 2nd Annual Melrose Garden Tour that they have the honor to be a part of! Join us on July 18th in the seven green and flowering gardens surrounding Melrose! I have been working on a little project to share with my Mom and Dad as well as with the visitors to our gardens overlooking Little Birch Lake! Every 4th of July is the same for my family and I. The day starts with the Ward Springs Parade (the only parade that I know of that hands out more beer than candy, and enough water to keep you cool from the heat of the noon sun!) The parade started with a few family made floats many years ago and has just grown throughout the years. A lot of people, water, and FUN!

After the parade we head out to the lake at our house and spend the day eating WAY to much food, sitting by the water, and watching fireworks while sitting by the bonfire late at night. It was a great day, and of course I have a few photos of Caiden and Aydree to share. I hope everyone’s 4th of July was as great as mine! Have a good week back to work and have a fun and safe July!
