One of my favorite parts of owning my own business is my ability to give back to the communities I serve by volunteering my time and talents to the local organizations that make our communities a better place to live. After working with the Minnesota Heart Gallery this past year, I made a few connections with the wonderful people over at the Todd County Social Service Offices. I was very happy to help them out with the KIK-FM Radiothon to Prevent Child Abuse event happening today and tomorrow! Go HERE for more information on how you can help! I don’t know how many times I can say that I LOVE MY JOB! I love working with my clients and seeing their smiling faces every time I deliver their photo orders (and there have been A LOT of orders delivered over the last couple of weeks! Thanks everyone!) It’s the best feeling ever, but this type recognition and appreciation is a first for me – I am a member of a online photography forum called Photo Talk Forum. It is a resource for me to grow my photography skills, a place to bounce business ideas around with other industry professionals, and a group of people to lean on from time to time! I was very honored when contacted by Katie an Lori, the two awesome and creative ladies behind Photo Talk Forum, to be be Novembers *Be Inspired* Spotlight Member. WHAT AN HONOR!! I was so excited to share info about how I got started in photography, info about my business, where I am going, and the product I offer my clients. It’s a great feeling to be recognized by my peers in the industry! I just wanted to say thank you to my clients for being the great faces for my business, and thanks to all the people who have helped me along my crazy & fun journey to where I am today. It is the month of thankfulness you know, and I wanted to make sure that you all know how much I truly appreciate you!
