I have been bad at updating the blog lately. I’ve been busy helping clients with final orders this week, and finalizing  holiday card designs until they were perfect! I have also been working on a really exciting special that I will announce in my next blog post! It is perfect for any of my clients from earlier this year client who were hoping to purchase more photos from their session later on! But I will tell you more about that in the next blog post! You will just have to wait!

I can’t believe I haven’t shared this session yet. Everyone that is a fan of the Adam Hommerding Fan Page has had a little sneak peek of these already, but I thought I better share them with my blog followers as well. I have been working with Stacey a lot this year. She is the community ed coordinator at the high school, and she is the one who managed to get one of my photos on the community ed flier!  Stacey also talked me into teaching a facebook class (it was a ton of fun! I see more teaching in my future!) So when Stacey asked if I would photograph her family, I was more than happy to say YES!

Although it was a very cold evening, the Jacobsons were troopers. They were a ton of fun to photograph, and I love the rich fall colors in all of their photos! Thank you so much Nate, Stacey, Charlotte, and Nicholas! I hope you warmed up since your session!

Jim & Carolyn scheduled their session during the Stearns County Fair, and Carolyn said that she wanted to wait for the fall colors. I thought it was a great idea too, but I didn’t think we would have a fall like we have been having! After rescheduling their session once due to crummy weather, I was happy to finally have a half ways decent day to photograph these two!

I have know Jim & Carolyn for quite some time, but never as Jim & Carolyn. Instead, they have always been Mr. & Ms. Ploof. Jim was my seventh grade art teacher, and Carolyn was my FACS and Foods teacher in High School! I always enjoyed going to both of their classes and I have to say it was a lot of fun catching up with them the other week during their session! Thank you Jim and Carolyn for being great teachers and also for choosing Adam Hommerding Photography! I really enjoyed my session with you! Enjoy your photos!

Aimee is a college classmate of mine and the day of our friend get-together, she asked all of us photo friends to take some maternity photos of her! Of course none of us could turn down the opportunity to photograph something especially when it included the cute little boy in the photos below. Karson was so excited about his new baby brother that was going to enter the world very soon! He talked about all the things he is going to do with new baby Kaiden when he arrived. One of us asked him if he was even going to change the baby’s diapers and he said “well yeah.” We then asked, What if it is a poopy one? Being his witty self he said right back, “then dad does it!”  I think his mom has trained him well!

Aimee had little baby Kaiden this past Thursday! I can only imagine what an awesome big brother Karson must be! Enjoy my favorite photos that I took from out short little session with these three (and 3/4 including Kaiden)!

I have been very busy the last week trying to catch up with all of my sessions, getting everyone their photos and with life in general… so this is going to be my little catching up post. I just keep thinking in the back of my mind, “just keep swimming, just keep swimming” in my Dorie voice from Finding Nemo! Check back in the next couple of days, and I promise there will be a couple more recent sessions posted for you to look at!

First off, Here is little miss Anna, Karring, and Hayley!
Amanda and I headed out to Cold Spring a couple of weeks ago to meet up with these three, and I have to first say that this day was one of the HOTTEST days of the summer! It was scorching hot and SO humid, but it was totally worth our time with these three! Anna is such a smart little girl with an incredibly strong personality! She is the mother to over thirty plastic cats, she loves to run around and play in the grass, and I am pretty sure she loves spending time with her dad and Hayley! I was so honored to get a little glimpse into their time together! Here are a few photos from our fun night!

I had a super fun session with the Schwieters Family the other week. They told me they wanted to jump off the raft when I showed up for their session, and I didn’t have any reasons for them not to! I was all for it. Of course we needed to get some fun shots before the “big jump” but I have to admit, my favorite photos from this session are all from after they dove into the water! Thank you Kurt, Mary, John, Joseph, and Caroline! I really enjoyed my session with you!
