I love when my senior clients book family sessions in the fall and this time I got to meet the WHOLE family! I photographed Kim’s senior photos last summer and I was very excited when I was asked to photograph the entire Molitor Family. If they are anything like Kim and her mom Shelly, I knew it was going to be a fun time! It sure was!

We lucked out the day of the session! The week before was filled with cloudy and rainy weather all the way up to the morning of the session. Just as I showed up to their family farm, the clouds parted and the sun showed its face! Below are a few photos from my time with the Molitor Family! I’m sharing the beautiful canvas collections that we installed in Shelly’s home as well! I’m so happy with the way they turned out! If you follow our facebook page you’ve probably already seen the Ellering Family, however I have been waiting for the above image to post here on the blog. Amanda and I had the joy of photographing the Ellering family last fall. It was perfect timing. The colors were vibrant and the weather on the day of their session couldn’t have been better! The Ellering family is just one of those families that you instantly fall in love with! They are fun, easy-going, and the kids are some of the most respectful kids I know! We had a lot of fun photographing them and walked away from that session with some of our favorite family photos!

Jenn and Ben were open to the idea of canvases but didn’t know exactly how they wanted to use them when they came in for their view+choose appointment here at our studio. Well we had a few suggestions, and with input from the whole family we managed to create a breathtaking canvas collection to grace their dining room wall. Jenn recently told us that she stops and looks at the canvas collection everyday! I don’t think there is any compliment better than that!

I have know the Bitz family for a number of years through our church, my sister’s daycare, and the multiple times Loren has been out to fix our air conditioner in the summer!   (Kellie & Loren own Bitz Plumbing & Heating) I had the honor of working with them a few years ago when I photographed little Hudson… Sad to say he isn’t so little anymore! He is a ball of energy and he was so fun to work with! Kellie, Loren, Avri, Savana, and Hudson were ALL wonderful to work with! Their session landed on a beautiful fall day during the peak fall colors! It was a photographer’s dream!

This week Bitz’s order arrived, and I am so excited to share their canvas wall collection! I love canvases and I really love groups of canvases even more! Nothing can top the warmth that canvas portraits of your family can add to your home. Loren & Kellie chose to hang the canvases right as you enter their home. I couldn’t think of any better way to welcome their guest! It’s so inviting, and how can you not stop and stare at those cute faces!

 Yay! We’ve made it to noon with our “Day of Blogging” event! I hope everyone is enjoying the new photos, and we hope you are taking advantage of the discounts we have shared so far. You are going to want to read this entire post, there just might be another discount at the bottom!!

I have know one small part of the Lang family for many years. Melanie & Gerry Wensmann and their three girls have been friends of my sister, Krissy, for a number of years through Krissy’s daycare! I obviously got to know them over the years through the daycare, and also when little Alexis was flower girl in Krissy’s wedding! It has been great seeing this family grow over the years, and I was more than excited when Melanie contacted me with the opportunity to meet the rest of her family!

The Lang family traveled to Melrose for their session on a windy and wet day. Thankfully the rain stopped for a good hour and we were able to hide from the wind as best as we could! Sherleen and Melvin should be very proud of their gorgeous family! They were all so great to work with, and I am very luck to have had them all as clients! Enjoy the photos!

I am so excited to share this with everyone! I have been working on this display for a month now, and I just put the finished prints up tonight! The display is in the patient waiting area of the new CentraCare Clinic in Melrose!
