These two cuties have such a fun relationship. Caiden is the sensitive one, always watching what is going on around him! His giggle is the cutest thing ever! It can easily make anyone smile! Claire is a sweetie but don’t let her cuteness fool you. She holds her own and loves to get dirty. Her facial expressions kill me! She’s quirky and thinks she’s pretty hilarious too! Together they make quite the entertaining duo! I’ll let the photos do the talking!

What do you get when you mix a gorgeous fall day with two energetic goofballs and their photographer uncle? A super fun session, that’s what!! I can’t believe the little personalities these two have! Don’t let Evan’s quietness fool you! This little guy is sneaky and hilarious! I think he acquired it from his big sis! She’s just as witty and this girl can pose like no other! If you follow our facebook page you’ve probably already seen the Ellering Family, however I have been waiting for the above image to post here on the blog. Amanda and I had the joy of photographing the Ellering family last fall. It was perfect timing. The colors were vibrant and the weather on the day of their session couldn’t have been better! The Ellering family is just one of those families that you instantly fall in love with! They are fun, easy-going, and the kids are some of the most respectful kids I know! We had a lot of fun photographing them and walked away from that session with some of our favorite family photos!

Jenn and Ben were open to the idea of canvases but didn’t know exactly how they wanted to use them when they came in for their view+choose appointment here at our studio. Well we had a few suggestions, and with input from the whole family we managed to create a breathtaking canvas collection to grace their dining room wall. Jenn recently told us that she stops and looks at the canvas collection everyday! I don’t think there is any compliment better than that!

At this point, who isn’t thinking of warmer weather? I’ve had spring fever for at least two weeks already. I couldn’t take it any more so I had to bring a little bit of Spring into the house! I bought three succulent plants for my office the other day! It is the perfect fix to this loooong gloomy winter. I took a little break the other day from my normal daily work to photograph my new office friends. For you photographers reading this, I tried a new shooting technique called free-lensing. Google it! It is a lot of fun! Below are a few shots that I took. Let’s hope that Spring is right around the corner. I don’t think anyone would complain.
