I may be a little biased but seriously… look at this face! This is my little nephew, Evan. He hasn’t been on the blog since his newborn session. These were his four month photos, and for some reason I just forgot to put them on the blog! He is growing so fast, and he is a really good little boy! I am pretty sure his big sister loves him very much. Those of you who follow the blog know that she wasn’t so sure about him when he was born. I think things have changed a little! Enjoy the photos. I am sure it won’t be long, and I will be updating this again with his nine month photos!

I have my shopping done, gifts wrapped, ugly sweater picked out (ok maybe I don’t), and there is only one last thing to do before the holidays are here - that is to thank each and every one of my clients, supporters, fans, friends, and family for your business, encouragement, and kind words in 2009! I can not thank you enough! I love my job, and Adam Hommerding Photography would not be what it is without you! My college friend, Aimee, sent me a message last night and said she had something that she HAD to show me! I was thinking it was going to be a photo of something really ridiculous that she saw or something, but what she showed me was by far WAY better that that!

Aimee has a little boy named Carson who I have photographed a couple times over the last three years as I was in school with his mom. Last night Aimee said Carson was playing with two wooden blocks and acting like it was his camera, and he was “taking pictures” of his little brother… but this is where is gets good- Carson took his “camera” and showed his mom and said - “Look at my picture of Kaiden mommy. I’m a photo taker and my name is Adam!”

That made my night, and still makes me smile today! Here is a photo of the little guy in action! I’d say his mommy better watch out, he has some pretty high tech equipment and has some good photographer form!

I am so excited to share this with everyone! I have been working on this display for a month now, and I just put the finished prints up tonight! The display is in the patient waiting area of the new CentraCare Clinic in Melrose! If you would like to see the photo display and you are not planning to visit for an appointment any time soon, you can tour the new clinic and see the display at the open house this Sunday, Dec. 13th from 1-4pm.
